What is it?
IUI stands for Intrauterine insemination. It is a fertility procedure which involves the placement of sperm inside a woman’s uterus to facilitate the fertilization and development of a fetus. IUI hopes to increase the sperm number that reaches the fallopian tubes so that there’s a higher chance of fertilization. While this process provides the sperm with a head start, it still requires it to reach the egg on its own. Many people often misunderstand this key point if you have any more questions about how the process works than we highly recommend that you contact the team at Neelkanth Hospital.About Neelkanth Hospital

3. Cervical scar tissue from past methods which may have ruined the sperms' ability to enter the uterus
4. Ejaculation dysfunction
IUI is not recommended for women who have:
1. Severe fallopian tubes related diseases
2. A history of pelvic pains and infections
3. Moderate to severe endometriosis
